Quote of the Week:
"He'll date a popular female singer. Publicly, they'll claim to be virgins. Privately, he hit it." <--- that is the best line ever!! LMAO!!!

Dirty Hair

For my birthday my mom took me to get my hair cut, and the guy that worked on my hair told me I was drying my hair out cause I wash it everyday. He said that I needed to wash it every other day but preferably once a week! Eeeew, that's nasty, but apparently the oils your body produce are better for your hair than the oils you end up putting in hair with products. So right now I'm on day two of not washing my hair, and I'm really disgusted by the way my hair looks. I'll probably be washing my hair tonight, but at least I tried, and that's all that matters.
P.S. They say your hair is better and easier to style when it's dirty, and I guess that's true, but you really don't notice or smell it do to all the products that are in your hair when you go to have it styled. Maybe if I had a stylist that styled my hair everyday I wouldn't mind going without washing my hair. Just a thought.

Happy Birthday To Me!!!
I had an amazing birthday thanks to all my friends and family. Neal bought me an iTouch! I was so excited I'd been wanting one since Christmas. My office through me two parties and Neal and I got a brand new king size bed. (I consider that part of my birthday too even though we got it a week before). lol
My mom took me to get my hair cut and bought me a Coach purse! Woo Hoo! My sister bought me a new Chi flat iron which is so cute. It came with a small makeup bag. I got tons of money which always a fun present to receive! Thank you everyone I love you! This was the best birthday ever! :)

Movie Review Monday
Title of the week:

This movie was so cute! I thought the movie reviews that dissed this movie were wrong completely! Matthew Mcconaughey and Jennifer Garner have a cute connections in the movie and look so adorable together. I really liked the concept they took from Mr. Scrooge and twisted it into something else. If you haven't seen this movie yet it's a great date movie.
4 stars!

Movie Review Monday
Title movie of the week:

The movie was a little so so. I thought the concept was cool, but could have been executed a little better. The monsters were so cute. I liked Seth Rogens character Bob. He was the funniest one. Your kids will defiantly like this movie, but you'll wanna nice LARGE glass of wine before the movie. It's a dragger! :P
3 stars!

Twilight in Vancouver and in Dallas

Shooting for the Twilight sequel New Moon officially started, and Robert Pattinson – back on set as Edward Cullen – doesn't disappoint in this first look from a high school parking lot scene. How HOT is he?! Did you know that according to reports, Texas will hold the largest US conference fully inspired by the Twilight series.
TwiCon!!!
This summer, the Sheraton Dallas Hotel will host the 4 day convention (from July 30th-August 2nd), which will feature music inspired by the sexy vampires and even a Volturi Masque Ball.
I'd go to this convention, and would love to attend the Volturi Masque Ball. My dress would be a gorgeous Emerald green! I can see it now.

Movie Review Monday
Title movie of the week:

I loved this movie! It's a movie I'll defiantly buy once it comes out. My only issue I had was not regarding the movie...its about the large group of ladies that sat down right in front of me and had to comment on every issue of the movie very loudly!! That has got to be one of my very TOP pet peeves!!! Large groups like that can over power the theater, and the next thing you know you're listening to what they have to say about the movie and not what the actual movie is saying. It's so frustrating, UGH!!! Other then that I LOVED the movie. It's so cute everyone should go see it.
5 Stars!

The Weekend has finally arrived...
and I'm not liking the way it's starting! It's rainy and ugly outside! Neal is refusing to take me to go watch 17 Again, and we have to attend his cousins wedding tomorrow. Ugh!! We haven't even bought her a gift yet..it's outdoors and my hair is not even going to try to cooperate with this humidity we have working here!! I thought this weekend would be a fun one, but so far it's NOT!!! Sorry I'm so crabby, but I wouldn't be if Neal would just give in and take me to see my movie!!!

This weekend should be FUN

This weekend the movie 17 Again comes out and I'm SO excited! I loved the first movie with Tia and Tamera Mowry and I'm pretty sure I'll love this one too. I'm hoping Neal will take me to go see it, but I'm not holding my breath. He doesn't care for the cute movies I like, but if I really really want him to take me he will. Also this weekend Neal's off work so we get to finish painting a couple of our rooms, and maybe go shopping...we'll have to see. Stay tuned!

PEOPLE!!!!
I'm blogging this morning, because it takes a lot to piss me off, and someone has successfully accomplished that. Residents here at RIATA can really be stupid, pushy, and just plain rude! Ok I know this guy is new to the community seeing as he just moved in last night, but his stupid self parked his moving truck in front of a garage that wasn't vacant. Meaning this morning a towing truck came and towed his truck away. Who gets the angry call about his truck.... ME!!! I cant help you dude you were the dumb ass that parked your tuck in front of someone’s garage, what did you think they would do?! Go knock on every door to see whos truck that belonged to...so they could let them know they're running late for work....NO!!! No this new residents got all pissed at me cause I didn’t have the number to the towing company. (That resident could have called any towing company in Austin.) So what does he do ask for a manager. No luck buddy...she's in a meeting you'll just have to wait to talk to her later!! If you wanna cry about your truck and how you just moved in and now don’t wanna live here cause another resident towed your truck away.... Cry little baby CRY!!! I don’t care....
Maybe you'll think twice next time before parking in front of someone else space.
Bad start to a very long day!!! ~:<

Movie Review Monday
Title movie of the week:

Easter weekend, and movie theaters were packed with young girls and boys excited to see the new Hannah Montana movie, and Yes, I was one of them. The movie brought in a whooping 34 million dollars making it #1 this weekend. Its the second highest Easter opening weekend since 2006's Scary Movie 4 who brought in 40.2 million that opening weekend. The movie takes place in LA and in Tennessee were her dad tries to show Hannah where Miley's roots really lie. Its such a sweet movie and has great catchy songs too. I've got the song "Hoedown Throwdown" stuck in my head.I even caught myself dancing the steps as I left the theater. I'm silly I know, but when was the last time you liked a song so much you sang it as you left the theater? Not often I'm sure. I must say though, she [Miley Cyrus] has gotten good at playing a double life! I'm going to be sad to see her leave it behind once her Disney contract is up, but for now enjoy her. It's a sweet sweet movie and tv show.

ACM Awards 4/5/09
These were the top three performances of the night (to me that is)! Taylor's my girl (her song is one of my favorites on her Fearless album), Miley's sweet no matter what people say (with her performance she gets better after the opening chorus), and Carrie, she's got the voice (nothing to say about her...she's Carrie). Check out the amazing videos (above), and you'll see why I heart all three of these girls. I would love to see them all in concert. (hint hint, hubby)

Movie Review Monday
Title movie of the week:

You may not know this about me but I grew up with a dad that loved classic muscle cars. So when it comes to F & F I drool inexcusably and I cant help it. Eight years since the original F & F was released and you wouldn't have known it. The movie is action packed from beginning to end and I loved it!! Who wouldn't love a fast paced action filled movie with the HOT Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and car after car after car in it?! The cars don't over power the movie this time around and it was a nice change. Definitely nothing like Tokyo Drift which is a good thing! This movie is pure Car Porn for the car enthusiast out there; and well if your not that into cars like I am, you can drool over the guys. If you weren't a fan of the others I'd love you to watch this one. You won't regret it.

48 Hour Project
This weekend Neal and I decided it was time to gussy up the front of the house. It's spring which means beautiful flowers and green healthy grass. Time to get to plantin, and that we did. We dug out the flower beds cause the pesky Bermuda grass loves to dig its way deep deep down into the flower beds and around the trees during the winter when we're not able to do yard work. (I guess we could get out and do some yard work during the winter, but I'm definitely not getting out there with the wind blowing and the temp's below 50, NO THANKS!) We planted gorgeous Hydrangeas in large pots, and then added color to the front flower bed and side flower bed. We then added white flowers around the trees to draw your eye to the yard as you drive by. This worked last year, but didn't earn us the Yard Of The Month post Neal's been dying to receive, but watch out neighborhood this year we're coming to get ya! Here are the before and after shots of the house. (I didnt have a more recent picture of our casa so I added the one from when we first moved in, and of course the one from today.)

IT'S OFFICIAL
As I drove home from work Friday evening I nearly made it to the house when on the 45 toll my back window blew out. I was totally embarrassed and all Neal could do when I called him was laugh. Not funny! It could have hit another car but I didn't see that happen. This is what my car looks like now. Trash bag window here I come.
